PCAARRD is soon to link its socioeconomic knowledge resources with the Socio-Economics Research Portal for the Philippines (SERP-P) of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) through a formal agreement.

Experts fear that with its alarming spread, the coconut scale insect (CSI) could easily reach several areas if not immediately controlled.
