Days before his retirement, Dr. Danilo C. Cardenas, Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) Deputy Executive Director for Administration, Resource Management and Support Services, was honored by the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Agriculture and Resources Research and Development (NOMCARRD) for his valuable contributions to the consortium’s agriculture research and development endeavors.
“You are leaving a legacy of leadership and cooperation among NOMCAARRD’s cooperating member institutions,” shares Dr. Maria Luisa R. Soliven, NOMCAARD RRDCC chair and CMU president as she honored Dr. Cardenas, outlining some of his contributions to the consortium.
Likewise, Dr. Rebecca B. Cagmat, former NOMCAARRD director, fondly shared how Dr. Cardenas helped refine program and project proposals for submission to PCAARRD for funding. She also recognized Dr Cardenas’ inputs and support in crafting NOMCAARRD’s regional research and development program which was instrumental in providing direction and guidance.
Dr Cardenas celebrates his 42 years of public service on September 22.
