NOMCAARRD bids farewell to the old and welcomes a new logo.
Dr. Maria Estela B. Detalla, Director of the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (NOMCAARRD), explains the concept of the new logo during its launching on the opening rites of the Kawayan ug Kanding FIESTA sa NOMCAARRD.
The ceremonies took place at the Central Mindanao University Convention Center, University Town, Musuan, Barangay Dologon, Maramag, Bukidnon.
According to Detalla, the three colors of the logo (yellow, green, and blue), represent the agriculture, aquatic, and forestry and natural resources sectors. Yellow symbolizes golden harvest, green symbolizes rich natural resources, while blue symbolizes vibrant and thriving aquatic resources.
“The colors having been distributed equally signifies equality in opportunities and privileges and shared responsibilities,” Detalla added.
Detalla also said that the microscope, which is the only part of the old logo retained in the new one, symbolizes the consortium’s strength and how it has weathered all odds during its existence.
