The basic premise of the contest is to solicit a shirt design which will convey the PCAARRD brand of service.
The contest is open for all. Participants may submit as many entries as they like but must accomplish one entry form per entry.
Design should include the PCAARRD official logo. Participants should provide overall concept/design of the white polo shirt, for example, the type of design (with graphics, text or both), placement of design (front, back, or both), or the combination of colors (e.g. body color is white with colored sleeves/collar), etc.
Participants shall waive their intellectual property rights (IPR) to PCAARRD on the shirt designs submitted. All entries will become the property of PCAARRD. Participants must acknowledge that their entries is original, does not incorporate or include any materials that will require consent from a third party, and does not violate any copyright, trademark, publicity, right, privacy right, or any other right of any third party.
Notice of the contest will be posted in PCAARRD website. Announcements will be posted in strategic places such as in DOST Central Office and in different offices and public spaces in Los Baños.
Three judges from PCAARRD will evaluate the entries using the following criteria:
Relevance to the Council's services - 35% Originality - 35% Creativity - 30%
Three winners will be proclaimed and will receive the following cash prize:
First place - Php5,000 Second place - Php3,000 Third place - Php2,000
The decision of the judges is final.
All submissions must be in PDF, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, .JPEG, or .EPS format. Any other file format will not be accepted. Deadline for submission of entries is on or before September 24, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.
The winner will be announced on September 28, 2015 during the PCAARRD’s Flag Ceremony. Certificates of participation shall be given to non-winners.
