Themed "Expanding Horizons through Impactful Public Service," the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) recently celebrated its 115th Foundation Day at the Charles Fuller Memorial Baker Hall, College, Laguna.

The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) joined the celebration with an exhibit of one of its major knowledge sharing platforms, the DOST-PCAARRD eLibrary.
The DOST-PCAARRD eLibrary is an online service facility that provides access and information on publications, theses/dissertations, and other literature in the agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources (AANR) sector.
The Council’s online library resource is part of its thrust to efficiently and promptly disseminate and share AANR and other science and technology information to its partners in the research and development network.
DOST-PCAARRD partnered with the DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII) to design and develop the Science Library Integrated Management System (SLIMS). SLIMS facilitates the efficient and prompt dissemination, sharing, exchange, preservation, access, and retrieval of AANR resources.
