The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) Acting Executive Director Dr. Reynaldo V. Ebora presented the Harmonized R&D Agenda for the Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources (AANR) sector during the Second National Research and Development Conference held on February 15, 2017 at the Manila Hotel.
The conference aimed to present to stakeholders the Harmonized National R&D Agenda (HNRDA) 2017-2022 before it is submitted to the National Economic Development Authority for approval.
The other sectoral R&D Agenda comprising the HNRDA that were present include:
a. Health by the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD)
b. Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technologies by the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD)
c. Integrated Basic Research by the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP)
d. Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS)
It also aimed to formalize the call for R&D proposals in the various sectoral areas.
