DOST-PCAARRD and STAARRDEC showcase S&T products and initiatives at the 29th Agrilink

With the theme, “The best of Philippine Agri to the World,” Agrilink 2024 is a convergence of local and international agencies, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, farmers, and enthusiasts to highlight and discuss latest advancements, trends and opportunities in the agriculture, food, and aquaculture industries.

The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) and Cavite State University (CvSU) through the Southern Tagalog Agriculture, Aquatic, and Resources Research Development and Extension Consortium (STAARRDEC) participated as exhibitors in the three-day event to feature different technologies from CALABARZON.

DOST-PCAARRD-supported S&T products and programs promoted are from seven consortium member institutions: Cavite State University (CvSU), Forest Products Research and Development Institute of DOST (DOST-FPRDI), Bureau of Plant Industry - Los Baños National Crop Research, Development and Production Support Center (BPI-LBNCRDPSC), University of Rizal System (URS), Southern Luzon State University (SLSU), University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), and De La Salle University Laguna (DLSU Laguna).

Aside from these technologies, DOST-PCAARRD disseminated free agriculture, aquatic and natural resources (AANR) publications as the event also served as a vital platform for knowledge sharing and networking of researchers, technology adopters, and startup entrepreneurs. 

Agrilink is the Philippines’ largest annual international trade exhibition in agriculture, food, aquaculture and agribusiness. The event, organized by the Foundation for Resource Linkage and Development Inc., was held on 3-5 October 2025 at the World Trade Center, Metro Manila.
